REED —  Research, Evaluation, Education, Dissemination

The Research, Evaluation, Education, and Dissemination, “REED" is a comprehensive Center-wide database application used to capture both the process and the outcome of all of its 41 projects. It has evolved over a ten year span to reflect the current needs of the Center, based on reporting requirements of the Center’s current projects. Access is limited to Prevention Research Staff and requires a user id and password.

All Staff at the Prevention Research Center are required, based on the needs of their projects, to enter data into the REED as part of their normal activities. New Employees are given access to the REED through an ID and Password process and trained soon after their arrival on it’s use.

The REED contains a basic report set that enables all projects to run a variety of reports that can be filtered and refined to meet their needs. Additionally, there is an ad hoc reporting interface that enables the user to define all aspects of their report and to output it in a variety of mediums.

Question regarding the REED should be addressed to either Jackie Morgan, System Analyst / Programmer III for the Center (505) 272-5787 or Linda Beltran the Project Manager for the PRC Core project (505) 272-8367.
