The Rural Health Interdisciplinary Program brings together students of many health professions for shared learning experiences. Participants use case development and problem-based learning (PBL) to develop team skills and appreciation for an interdisciplinary model of heath care. They research community health issues and focus on healthcare disparities. During the summer, students gain experience in rural living and public health. Rural communities (usually hospitals or rural health clinics) can meet RHIP students and recruit them for health professional positions after graduation. Resources (Also see Links, to the left)
