Neuroimaging / Traumatic Brain Injury Electives

Fellows can obtain additional training in neuroimaging from the MIND institute or through radiology courses.

During the neuroradiology elective, Fellows will learn anatomy, pathology, and differential diagnoses as applied to the spine, brain, head, and neck. Technical aspects of CT and MR imaging, including newer MR imaging techniques and occasional myelography exams are covered. Fellows can attend weekly combined neuroimaging conferences with the neurology and neurosurgery departments.

Traumatic Brain Injury elective is offered through the MMDI clinic at MHC and the MIND institute. Fellows increase their knowledge of neurology, psychopharmacology and rehabilitation of brain injury.
