Areas of Specialization:
I am a generalist, with a strong interest in working with adolescents and with families. Currently, I am the attending psychiatrist at Pecos Residential Treatment cottage at Children's Psychiatric Center. I also supervise child psychiatry fellows and residents at their psychopharmacology clinic. My background also includes work in community mental health in Anchorage, Alaska, school based services to children and adolescents, consultation to a preschool program, work with homeless adults with chronic mental illness, and family practice in rural and arctic Canada. I have traveled extensively throughout the world. I love teaching, and mentoring, and am especially interested in mentoring women interested in combining professional work with family life.
