EXECUTIVE MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF UTILIZATION FOR UNMH AND UPC

My passion for the outdoors is what brought me to the southwest, and I have stayed because of the people. I started my adventure at UNM at the Metropolitan Detention Center and the consult liaison service, before moving into the role as medical director for the consult liaison service and joining the ECHO project, a project which provides specialty support to rural primary care providers. My major interests are patient safety, quality, resource utilization, and accessibility of health care systems. I combine these interests with a love of teaching. The University and Department have nurtured these passions.
I encourage you to explore the website. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about joining our innovative, dynamic team. I hope I can meet you if your travels bring you out to beautiful New Mexico.
