CITI is Required Training for all UNM investigators * involved in Human Research
Initial Training
Before going to CITI- you need to print out a set of instructions on how
to register; if you don't follow the instructions, you may end up
with more modules than you need!
The instructions have a link to the CITI website.
|
Biomedical CITI: For research projects involved with
medical procedures (i.e. blood draw, etc.)
|

|
Social/behavioral CITI: for research projects involved with
non-medical procedures.
|

|
*Investigator is
any person who is responsible for the design, conduct, or
reporting of a UNM human research activity. For these purposes, any
individuals who are performing data entry and do not have access to
identifiable information are not required to complete CITI.
Recertification Training
When it is time to recertify (every 2 years) the CITI program will send you
an email with your username and a link to have your password emailed to you.
As this is simply a reminder of what investigators should already know from
taking the full training, this recertification takes only 20-40 minutes.
