Urology Division
Research and Scholarly Works
The Division of Urology is active in clinical and translational research. As an academic group, our faculty are also interested in educational research and how we can better train future urologists.
Currently, the Division of Urology has 2 active research grants. One is focused on using advanced video technology to improve resident education in robotic surgery. The other grant, awarded to Dr. Shah by the Society of Urology Chairpersons and Program Directors, focuses on use of videoconferencing technology to improve the interview process for resident selection.
Our residents and faculty have presented papers at major regional, national and international meetings including the American Urological Association annual meeting. We also participate in the South Central Section meetings of the AUA.
