NEW SYSTEM!

Description:

This workshop offers information about and hands-on experience using “I-Clickers,” the new audience response system (ARS) recently adopted by UNM and purchased by the School of Medicine. (If you have had experience using the previous ARS system at the SOM, you will find this one much easier to use in terms of both inputting questions and running the system. It is runs independently alongside any applications running on a PC or Mac. Questions can thus be developed using any software or medium you would prefer: PowerPoint, Word, HTML, verbally, etc. Once engaged, iClicker receives, tabulates, and displays audience responses while continuing to display the medium in which the question was delivered.)

Participants will practice writing and critiquing questions for use with I-Clickers that are designed to generate interest, promote learning, and check for understanding; inputting questions for I-Clicker use; and implementing a session.

Target Audience:
MD, PhD, PT, OT, PA-C, Others
