Health Care and Health Education in Cyberspace: New Paradigms in Using Information Technologies and Telehealth to Close the Gaps in Health Care Access and Knowledge

Through the use of emerging information technologies such as interactive distributed virtual reality, the next generations of the Internet, Web portals, Telehealth and medical simulation training have launched new paradigms of health care and education. Understanding and communicating about these paradigms is crucial as global information exchange becomes part of health care.
