  1. Primary Point of Contact regarding UNM HSC Telehealth
  2. Assist in Development of new telehealth applications
    1. Technical planning and design
    2. Operational Protocol planning and design for the specific service
  3. General training and education in the use of telehealth
  4. Resource and repository of telehealth related policies, procedures, and best practices
  5. Assessment and Evaluation of Telehealth Technologies
    1. Provide assessment of network and technical requirements for various projects and programs
    2. Assist in the evaluation and selection of appropriate technology
    3. Assess telehealth resources
    4. Tracking clinical and educational telehealth services
  6. Facilitate sharing and interoperability of telehealth technologies and infrastructure when indicated that creates a coordinated UNM HSC Telehealth system and avoids unnecessary duplication
  7. Coordinate the Telehealth Users Group (TUG), comprising representatives of clinical departments and programs at the HSC.
  8. Assist in Scheduling UNM HSC Telehealth activities
  9. Provide telehealth session monitoring and technical support
  10. In conjunction with the Strategic Telehealth Advisory Council (STAC), coordinate Telehealth Legislative requests
  11. Assist in Grant Development in which telehealth is a component
  12. Provide consultation to other established UNM HSC telehealth programs as needed
