Video Conferencing at UNM HSC

The Center for Telehealth has five sites for video conferencing available to all departments. The information provided here is for the five sites run by the Center for Telehealth. They are available to all programs and projects at UNM, HSC.

Each of our sites is able to connect to sites all over New Mexico, nationally and internationally. For a simple site to site conference one site calls the other (someone needs to decide who’s calling who). When more than two sites are involved in a conference then we need to use a multi-point control unit (MPU). This service is provided to HSC by CfTH. During the conference the MCU will switch the site that is speaking into view for the other sites in the conference.

Conferences need to be scheduled in advance so that we can test the connection, ensure space availability and coordinate the bridge. To schedule a conference please call Angela Gonzales at (505) 272-8144.

Columbia Site

Family Practice Center

Tully Conference Room
Tully Conference Room is located on the 6th floor UNM Hospital Pavilion 2211 Lomas Blvd. NE Seats twenty (20) comfortably at the tables and an additional forty (40) more in the suite. Domenici Center for Education
Domenici 2112 is located on the 2nd floor of the Domenici Building, 1001 Stanford NE Seats fifty (50) comfortably at the tables with extra seating as needed. Under special circumstances CfTH can set up a temporary system at most locations on the UNM campus.
