Research Overview

Research at the UNM College of Population Health focuses on making communities healthier, preventing disease and promoting wellness.

Working Together

The college works in partnership with communities, neighborhood organizations, nonprofit and government agencies, the private sector, health systems and policy entities such as tribes, local and state governments and others.

Ongoing research includes the Center for Participatory Research, which promotes and develops community based participatory research projects.

In addition, the Transdisciplinary Research, Equity and Engagement Center for Advancing Behavioral Health (TREE Center) working with New Mexico communities to develop behavioral health interventions for underserved populations.
