In order to provide the safest environment for our employees, patients and visitors, as of March 11, 2020, at 3 p.m., UNM Hospital will restrict regular entrance access areas and create alternate routes for employees, patients, and visitors. There will only be three main entrance locations (reference the attached map):
1. North Pavilion Entrance
2. Main North Entrance
3. Patient Drop-off Entrance
All badge access entrances will be activated at this time until further notice. All staff must use their badges to enter through these areas.
This will be exactly the same as night entrance access protocol.
The thoroughfare near Lomas an
d Stanford will not be accessible during this time.
A Respiratory Care Center (formerly BBRP1500 Conference Room) will be set for potential COVID-19 patients. This meansthe west entrance from the patient parking garage will be closed. Please identify alternate locations for all meetings scheduled in this room.
As a reminder, in order to ensure the safety of our employees, patients, and visitors, please follow the standard badge access policy and do not let others follow you into badge-restricted areas. We will continue to provide updates regarding any changes in UNMH access.
