Remote Access Tips or Faculty & Staff

MY REPORTS: (the reporting tool that accesses Banner information) can be accessed here. Login with your UNM NetID and password and a MyReports Icon will be right there where you can login to MyReports.

UNM SYSTEMS VIA UNM VPN & MYUNM: Anyone who needs remote access to MyReports, Curriculum Workflow, or Banner Workflow can use the UNM VPN with their UNM NetId and password. All other UNM business functions will work remotely through the myunm page.

Zoom: Although this is a vendor support applications, we do manage the pro licensing. All of the needed information to get a zoom account or contact zoom for support are located here.

Encrypting USB devices: Instructions for encrypting USB devices can be found here.

Novell Messenger: This does work off-campus. The software can be found here.

UNM HSC VPN: The number of VPN connections are limited by available licenses (first come, first served). If all of the licenses are in use, then you will receive the license error message. UNMH is working to expand the licensing, but there is no technical way to guarantee license availability. Anyone who had prior VPN access still has it. Currently there is no intention of taking it away.

POWERCHART: People who need powerchart access from home and cannot access it through Citrix may need to request CAG (Citrix Access Gateway) access from UNMH which is required for remote access.
