Research and Scholarship

My primary interest in research is to support the research mission of the UNM Cancer Center by assisting with the breast imaging aspects of clinical trials, including radiologist participation in interpreting breast imaging for and performing ultrasound and stereotactic guided biopsies required for these trials. Additionally, as Site Lead Radiologist for the Tomosynthesis Mammographic Imaging Screening Trial, our site will contribute to this large, multicenter randomized controlled clinical trial comparing digital mammography screening to tomosynthesis screening.
