Personal Statement

Dr. Liem is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center.  He is an Associate Professor in the section of Radiation  Oncology.  Dr. Liem has extensive experience treating all disease sites and has a special focus on the use of Radiosurgery for the treatment of central nervous system diseases.  He has been Principle Investigator for many clinical trials including his own investigator initiated clinical trials as well as national cooperative group trials.  Dr. Liem believes in a personalized approach to cancer care in which he works closely with a patient to come up with the best treatment plan possible for a particular patient.
