Personal Statement

Post Dr. Vohra's Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, he was appointed Assistant Professor at Mt. Sinai Medical Center for a year following which he moved back to his country and practiced in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology in New Delhi, India before joining UNM in 2017 as Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.

Dr. Vohra has an interest in Celiac disease and has a website and a book on the same. He is interested in Eosinophilic esophagitis, Helicobacter pylori infections, Irritable bowel syndrome, Inflammatory bowel disease and chronic liver diseases including fatty liver. He is Interested in education of the community and health care providers in various pediatric gastroenterology related conditions for their early recognition and therapy.

Last year, Dr. Vohra Edited a practical book on Pediatric Gastroenterology - 51 Clinical Questions and Answers.
