Project ECHO launched multiple programs in response to COVID-19 in New Mexico.
Led by Michelle Harkins, MD, and Alisha Parada, MD, the Post-COVID Primary Care ECHO will provide training, technical assistance and mentorship to rural primary care providers on evidence-based, best practice treatment for patients with COVID, post-COVID complications and/or COVID “long haulers”.
Join your colleagues in EMS, law enforcement, and healthcare from around the nation for our first-of-its-kind program based on real cases and situations generated by COVID-19. Learn techniques to manage self-care and increase resiliency and capacity during this crisis. Share best practices and receive support from peers, physicians, and mental health experts.
Keep up-to-date on current COVID-19 research and therapies from experts in infectious disease, including brief updates from the team and an extensive question and answer session.
The COVID-19 global pandemic is impacting nursing facility staff and residents in unprecedented ways. Join your colleagues in facilities and hospitals around the state in the MQIHA program based on real cases and situations.
Past New Mexico COVID-19 teleECHO sessions include topics for community health workers, interprofessional specialist panel presentations, and three education programs in support of the transition to at-home learning.
