The pandemic of SARS COV-2 virus (COVID-19) has had a profound impact on both health care providers and American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) patients.
The Mental Health and Resiliency TeleECHO, aims to support healthcare providers in treating the mental health concerns of AI/AN patients and supporting peers during the pandemic crisis and its aftermath, while also managing their own wellbeing. Topics will include: Provider and Staff Self-Care, Provider and Patient Resiliency, Mental Health Disorders, Trauma Informed Care, Suicide Prevention, Evidence-based and Practice-based Treatment Modalities, etc. This program is supported and funded by the Indian Health Service, but open to all.
