The University of New Mexico’s Office for Community Health and Project ECHO are holding teleECHO trainings on Cornoavirus (COVID-19) for Community Health Workers. The training (English and Spanish) will focus on separating myths from facts, examining CDC recommendations, and sharing resources for yourself and the communities you work with.

The ECHO Institute hosted a weekly COVID-19 Multi-Specialty teleECHO program regarding the evolving nature of the pandemic. Program panelists included an interprofessional team of specialists including infectious disease, pulmonary, epidemiology, primary care, and hospital infection control. The program featured critical updates from each hub team member, as well as case-based learning and didactic presentations at every session.

Three TeleECHO programs were held in support of Education transitioning to at-home learning environments.
New Mexico Departments of Health and Health and Human Services hosted jointly with the ECHO Institute a statewide training focused on COVID-19 response for the New Mexico ECHO community of healthcare workers.
