Our programs are empowering communities with the right knowledge, at the right place, at the right time.
Created in 2003 to deliver specialized medical knowledge to rural health care providers, Project ECHO builds communities of practice through free virtual mentoring and learning. Using the ECHO Model, professionals learn and share best practices in health care, education and more.
Backed by more than 500 peer-reviewed research articles, ECHO has proven effective across disciplines and geographies as a way to reduce disparities and drive collaborative solutions for local priorities.
Project ECHO has partners all over the world who operate their own programs. In addition to supporting these partners, the ECHO Institute – our headquarters based in Albuquerque, New Mexico – trains and operates a wide variety of its own ECHO programs.
Interested in seeing the ECHO Model in action? We welcome prospective partners to observe an ECHO session.
