Our program was developed to address alcohol-related harm and associated medical and psychiatric conditions. We aim to reduce the stigma and increase awareness of the issue, while supporting primary care providers who are working with people experiencing harm from alcohol use.
Using the ECHO Model, our multidisciplinary team with expertise in psychology, addiction medicine, internal medicine and psychiatry will support participants through didactics and case-based presentations. Our session topics include screening and treatment of harmful alcohol use, treatment of co-occurring medical and psychiatric problems, motivational interviewing and more.
Participants are eligible to receive no-cost continuing medical education credits.
Our program meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month, from noon to 1 p.m. Mountain Time.
