The New Mexico Community Health Worker and Peer Support Worker Opioid ECHO training is a 12-week cohort designed to support the New Mexico CHW and PSW workforce in their treatment of clients with opioid use disorder.
Using the ECHO model, our multidisciplinary hub team leads participants through evidence-based didactics and case-based presentations.

Our spring cohort meets Thursdays at 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. MT from July 13 to September 28, 2023. Space is limited and registration is required.

Program Director
Shuttleworth completed her PhD at UNM focusing on brain injury and Post-doc research in human functional neuroimaging at UT Medical and Baylor. After, she retrained in Counseling at UNM. She has been at the UNM Pain Consultation and Treatment Center since 2013 and with ECHO since 2016. Recognizing the need for trauma-focused counseling with the chronic pain population at the PCTC, she went on to complete advanced training in trauma-focused treatment.
