Our program was developed to improve dermatologic care and access in New Mexico.
Early-access care improves outcomes and saves lives; however, with approximately 33 board-certified, general dermatologists serving a population of over two million people, patients often face long wait times and travel burdens. Our program makes accessible care a reality for more patients.
Using the ECHO Model, board-certified dermatologists train and support participants with didactics and case discussions, increasing their knowledge around diagnoses and treatments.
Participants are eligible to receive no-cost continuing medical education credits.
We meet on the second and fourth Fridays of the month from noon to 1 p.m. Mountain Time.
