Our programs are addressing a statewide hepatitis C epidemic by training and telementoring primary care providers on treatments and best practices, allowing them to help more patients in underserved communities.
During our sessions, primary care providers present cases to their peers and a team of specialists. Together, using the ECHO Model, providers are able to collaborate, talk through challenging cases and learn from one another.
Note: Email us to get involved.
We also offer a monthly, three-hour virtual HCV training exclusively for medical professionals, which includes an overview of HCV infections, clinical treatment guidelines, background on the ECHO model and HCV efforts in New Mexico. Continuing education credits are offered for this training.
