More than 100 arthritic or rheumatologic diseases and conditions affect thousands of New Mexicans. Rheumatological conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis and gout, can lead to diminished quality of life and disability, if left untreated.
Using the ECHO Model, the Rheumatology ECHO program provides a link between specialists and community clinicians throughout the state. Rheumatology is a rapidly developing medical specialty with new treatment options appearing frequently; our program ensures providers have up to date information as soon as possible, allowing them to offer new forms of treatment and early diagnosis for their patients.
The Rheumatology ECHO program meets virtually every Monday from noon to 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time.
