Our office in India allows us to expand training, develop local partnerships and support regional growth while remaining closely connected with Project ECHO’s global headquarters.
Since launching in 2003, Project ECHO has drastically expanded its reach with partners across the globe. We continue to grow and so does the number of lives that are impacted.
In 2008, we launched our first office in India to meet the immense demand and culturally unique needs of the underserved populations from New Delhi to Goa.
Similar to Project ECHO’s New Mexico origins, ECHO India began as a health care initiative, tackling cancer screenings, palliative care, mental health, liver disease, tuberculosis and more. Today, ECHO India is addressing the serious air pollution problem in New Delhi and surrounding districts, showing the mental and physical benefits of yoga, addressing the issue of smoking cessation and more.
ECHO India is headed by Chairman Dr. “Col” Kumud Rai and Executive Director Dr. Sunil Anand.
Amplify capacity to provide quality health care and education for underserved people in India.
