UNM Health System’s Department of Speech-Language Pathology provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders.

Our knowledgeable staff has decades of experience with numerous speaking and swallowing conditions and uses state-of-the-art practices to treat patients from infants to senior citizens. We have a caring staff with a strong background in advocacy, knowledge and motivation to achieve goals and bring our patients back to a fully functioning state. We work closely with many other UNM Health clinics to ensure you receive the highest-quality care.

To schedule an appointment please ask your doctor for a referral and fax it to our clinic. We accept referrals from within the UNM Health system, community physicians and long-term care facilities. Outpatient services are offered Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and inpatient services are available Monday-Sunday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
