What is Telehealth?

With telehealth, patients don’t have to leave their communities to receive care. They can connect to UNM specialists from their local clinics and hospitals, or from their homes. The patient and the UNM specialist can meet through a secure video-conference for a live consultationor your local provider can get recommendations from a specialist by sending images - such as X-ray or photographs of skin conditions - to us via a secure network.

Contact your UNM provider to find out if telehealth is an option for you.
