Rebecca Touchet, DO

 I am passionate about serving rural and underserved communities, and family medicine gives me the opportunity to do so in a meaningful, long-term way. I am motivated by the chance to build strong relationships with patients and to be an active member of the communities I serve. I love the breadth of family medicine, which allows me to care for patients across all ages and stages of life, while also adapting to their unique needs.

My interests in rural medicine, global health, and women’s health reflect my desire to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

I chose UNM Santa Fe because of its dedication to full-spectrum training and serving underserved populations. I am especially excited about the program’s rural focus and the opportunity to continue developing my medical Spanish, which will help me connect more deeply with patients.
