Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: I chose UNM because from the moment I interviewed, I felt that the people here were both genuinely friendly and highly professional. I was impressed by how approachable the faculty and residents were and how much they seemed to care about each other and the program. Just as importantly, the program’s strengths in clinical training, education, research, and fellowship preparation align very closely with where I want to be professionally. I particularly appreciated that UNM supports residents in defining their own career goals and provides the mentorship, individualized training opportunities, and resources to help them achieve those goals. |
