I grew up in a multicultural family in Santiago, Chile at the tail end of the Pinochet era.  When I immigrated to Boise, ID as a 5th grader, I realized how important it is to cherish and respect different cultures and traditions, something that I’ve found is celebrated here at UNM and in Albuquerque.

When I'm not in the reading room, I enjoy going to Empire Board Game Library and hosting game nights with my fellow board game nerds. I also enjoy spending time with my spouse and kids exploring Albuquerque’s rich independent restaurant scene. I've also taken up running and mountain biking, making sure to revel in some of the best weather in the country.
