Equipment

  • Sony iCyt SY3200 four-laser, high-speed cell sorter, capable of four-way sorting and single cell deposition, with 488nm, 642nm, 405nm, 561nm, and 355nm lasers for excitation.
  • Becton Dickinson LSRFortessa Flow Cytometer with four lasers for fifteen-color analysis.
  • Becton Dickinson FACScan Flow Cytometer for three-color analysis.
  • Becton Dickinson FACScalibur Flow Cytometer for four-color analysis.
  • Perkin Elmer 1420-040 Victor 3V multilabel plate reader with 2 injectors for plate-based readings of fluorescence, time-resolved fluorescence, luminescence, absorbance, fluorescence polarization; capable of single point and kinetic measurements.
  • Luminex 100 analyzer, which utilizes xMAP technology to quantitate immunoassays, complex genetic analyses, and enzymatic assays in a 96 well format. Single license of BioPlex Manager 4.1 Luminex analysis software, which can be checked out to users.
  • Sample handling for flow cytometry including rapid mixing for kinetic analysis, and sampling from multiwell plates and other laboratory instruments are in various stages of development.
  • Zeiss fluorescence, phase-contrast microscope complements the instruments described above.
