Biography
Dr. Adair is Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of New Mexico and staff Neurologist at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University in 1983. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Utah in 1987. He completed medical internship and neurology residency training at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals. He became certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1992. Dr. Adair worked in private practice at the Salt Lake Clinic. He underwent Behavioral Neurology fellowship training at the Center for Neuropsychological Studies at the University of Florida from 1993-1995. He joined the Department of Neurology at the University of New Mexico in 1995. He became certified in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties in 2007. Dr. Adair directed the adult neurology residency training program for 13 years. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, including the AcademyĆ¢s sections for Behavioral Neurology and Geriatric Neurology.
