Personal Statement
From the beginning, I was drawn to the visual and hands-on nature of the pathologists' assistant role. I realized it also requires precision, problem-solving, and attention to detail. However, what truly inspired me to become a pathologists' assistant was the unique way in which patients are treated. Pathology can take many forms, and I find meaning in knowing that my work supports accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. Each specimen is valued to provide the upmost patient care. Furthermore, I am passionate about teaching. I hope to inspire pathology residents to appreciate the significance in gross pathology and the responsibility that comes with it.
