Biography

Aldaoseri, received Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Al Mustansiriyah . Following her MD degree she completed 4 years of residency in Family Medicine at University of Baghdad. Then she moved to U.S . and completed a 3 years of Family Medicine residency at the University of New Mexico.

Personal Statement

I was born and raised in Baghdad/ Iraq. I had a very happy childhood surrounded by a loving and caring family. I always wanted to be a doctor! And in 2000 that dream came true. I graduated from medical school in 2006.
I finished my residency in Family Medicine in Baghdad in 2013.
In 2014, I moved to Albuquerque, and started the residency journey doing Family Medicine again but this time at UNM.
Having a great learning environment and being surrounded by very supportive and caring attendings made me realize that I want to continue to be part of this great family.
I’m very excited to join UNM as faculty!
Outside career life, I’m a very proud mom for four wonderful children, Sama, Ibrahim , Fatima and Leen.
My beloved husband is a fellow with General Surgery at UNM. I enjoy reading, baking, and shopping!
