Biography
Angela Bachicha, DNP APRN NNP-BC is a Clinical Educator, Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico College of Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2009 and most recently graduated from the University of New Mexico (UNM) College of Nursing with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2024, specializing in Nurse Executive and Organizational Leadership.
Prior to joining the UNM College of Nursing, Dr Bachicha worked in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU) at the UNM Childrens Hospital as a neonatal nurse practitioner. In addition to newborn acute care, her interests are postpartum depression and anxiety in the NICU. Her doctoral scholarly project focused on improving the administration rate of the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale in the NICU.
