Personal Statement

I am passionate about prevention of infectious diseases, particularly in the health care setting, and am interested in stemming the tide of antimicrobial resistance. To do this type of work, data is necessary and important to drive these changes so I have become interested in clinical informatics. Specifically, I am interested in improving clinical decision support for diagnostic tests or antimicrobials and in data reporting and visualizations to improve patient care.
