Biography
Clewett oversees key institutional and operational functions, including policy, development, sustainability, partnerships and programs.
Clewett completed her Ph.D. in comparative politics and international relations at the George Washington University.
In 2002, Clewett became director of development at Global Links, a Pittsburgh-based medical aid organization; the organization collects unused equipment, furnishings and supplies from U.S. hospitals to support hospitals and clinics in Latin America. As development director, she developed the organization’s first individual giving campaign and helped lead the first major gift campaign.
In 2007, she started her MBA at the University of Pittsburgh, while working at the University of Pittsburgh and Innovation Works: two central support organizations of Pittsburgh’s growing start-up community. Clewett joined Project ECHO in 2014, first as a program manager and later as the director of replication before becoming chief of staff in 2019.
