Biography
Dr. Trevor Crean is originally from Michigan, growing up approximately one hour north of Detroit. He received a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2011. He then earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine - Mclaren Oakland Campus in 2020 and went on to complete his fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at the University of New Mexico in 2021. His focus of practice is primarily orthopedic trauma as well as primary knee and hip replacement. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, playing golf, watching Detroit sports and spending time with his wife, son and 3 dogs.
Personal Statement
I am an Assistant Professor at UNM through the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation. I serve as Faculty for the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program as well as the Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship Program at UNM. My primary practice focuses on treating acute fractures, chronic fracture nonunions/malunions, limb-length discrepancy/deformity correction as well as elective primary hip and knee replacement.
