Biography

Dr. Dellmore received a BA degree in Psychology (1995) from Emory University and her MD from the University of Texas at Houston (2001), now McGovern School of Medicine. Following her medical degree she completed a 4 year residency at the University of New Mexico Psychiatry Residency Training Program. During her final year as a resident, she served as the Chief Resident for University Psychiatric Center Inpatient Services. Dr. Dellmore has served as a Faculty member at the University of New Mexico since 2005 and contributes to the clinical, educational, leadership, and scholarly mission of UNM.

Personal Statement

Dr. Dellmore enjoys supporting people and their families challenged with psychiatric illness, life transitions, and stressors in the outpatient adult faculty practice clinic setting. She also directs the medical student program in psychiatric education by teaching in the Phase I Behavioral Sciences block; directing the Phase II Psychiatry Clerkship; and supporting Phase III rotations, match advising, and psychiatric recruitment.

Dr. Dellmore specializes in managing mood disorders and anxiety disorders. She practices dynamic psychotherapy and CBT.
