Biography

Amanda F. Derylo, MD, is a practicing radiologist who specializes in Breast Imaging.

Dr. Derylo graduated Summa cum Laude in 2007, where she received her B.S. from Dominican University in River Forest, IL. She received her Master of Science degree from Rosalind Franklin University College of Health Professions in 2008 and her M.D. with Distinction in Research from Chicago Medical School in 2012.

She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2017. As a resident, Dr. Derylo received the Resident of the Year Award for 2016 and was Chief Resident (of Radiology). After completing her Breast Imaging fellowship in 2018 from Medical College of Wisconsin, she returned to UNM, where she is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology.

Dr. Derylo serves as the Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology residency and the Fellowship Director of Breast Imaging. She also currently serves as a Breast Imaging Section Co-Chief. She is particularly interested in medical education and is committed to the growth and development of residents and fellows. Other nonclinical interests include quality improvement, diversity, and wellness.

She is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging, Association of University Radiologists, American Association for Women Radiologists, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Radiology Society of North America.
