Biography
Michael DiGirolamo earned a B.S. in Biology in 2010 and a M.S. in Basic Medical Sciences in 2012. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2015 from Tulane University School of Medicine. Following this, he completed a 3-year residence in Pediatrics at Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL (completed in 2018), followed by a 3-year fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Children's Hospital of Richmond - Virginia Commonwealth University (completed in 2021).
Areas of Specialty
I specialize in the clinical practice of Pediatric Pulmonology, evaluating and treating patients from birth to 21 years of age with a myriad of disorders. Within Pediatric Pulmonology, I bring expertise in caring for patients with cystic fibrosis and participating in research to improve the lives and bring equitable care to patients with this disease.
