Personal Statement
I completed family medicine residency here within the Department of Family and Community Medicine, and went on to complete the Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health Fellowship due to my passion for providing complex prenatal and comprehensive obstetric care for my continuity patients. My fellowship training has also enabled me to care for medically-complex newborns, which furthers my ability to care for entire families and to practice truly full-scope family medicine. My professional interests include reproductive health and family planning, care for families affected by substance use disorder, and resident education. I am currently serving as the Maternal and Child Health Education Director, as well as the Southeast Heights Clinic Education Director. In these roles, I ?focus on ?curricular development, and work directly with residents ?to help ?enhance their clinical experiences on these services.
