Biography

Corey C. Ford, MD, PhD is Professor Emeritus and Vice-chair for Research in the department of Neurology. He attended medical school at the University of Virginia and neurology residency and fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at the University of Rochester. His area of clinical specialty is multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology and he has participated in over 150 clinical trials of new treatments for MS. He is currently director of the Brain Imaging Center (BIRC), one of the key facilities in the Health Sciences Center Human Imaging Research Core. He continues to oversee and serve as site PI for multiple clinical trials in multiple sclerosis.
