Biography
Dr. Grebenc is a native of Denver, Colorado and a graduate of UNM School of Medicine. She received her Diagnostic Radiology training at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego and completed a Body Imaging fellowship at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda MD. Dr. Grebenc served in the Navy for 11 years, serving in the Washington D.C. area and completing two overseas tours. After that, she worked in private practice and teleradiology. Dr. Grebenc earned her Master?s in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver.
As an UNM SOM alumnus, Dr. Grebenc is thrilled to join the UNM faculty and fulfill her long-time desire to teach residents and medical students. She lives in Placitas with her husband, Dr. Jos‚ Acosta, who works at the New Mexico Department of Health. They have two children, Miguel, who is an economist at the Federal Reserve Board and Lourdes, who is a Naval Officer.
