Biography
Dr. Hager completed medical school at the University of Rochester, psychiatry residency at the University of New Mexico, and consultation-psychiatry fellowship at the University of New Mexico. He currently serves as an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of New Mexico, where he directs the consultation-liaison psychiatry fellowship. His clinical work focuses on the psychiatric care of people with HIV, and transgender and gender non-binary persons. He consults with several Project ECHO clinics, and speaks locally, regionally, and nationally on HIV psychiatry, gender affirming psychiatry, endocrine psychiatry, and medical cannabis.
