Biography
Dr. Hamma received Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Johns Hopkins University in 2002. After working as a research scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, she decided to pursue medical carrier and received Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Pacific Northwest University of Health Science in 2014. She completed training in General Psychiatry followed by Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico in 2019. She is currently an assistant professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and works as an inpatient attending at the University of New Mexico Children?s Psychiatric Center. Her area of interest include acute, intensive, and emergency psychiatric care in child and adolescent population.
