Personal Statement

My primary areas of interest are medical education, general infectious disease, and care for immune suppressed and transplant patients. As a chief resident, fellow, and faculty member, I enjoy introducing learners to a broad range of infectious diseases and to the rewards and challenges of caring for complex patients from all walks of life. Infectious disease is a fascinating, complex, and patient focused field. I am committed to giving medical learners more exposure to the field. Clinically, I am excited to help provide multidisciplinary care to the transplant and immune suppressed patients of New Mexico, and to be a part of these growing programs.
