Biography
Dr. Stephanie Hedstrom is a board-certified perinatologist with over 25 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics. She currently practices at Genesis OB/GYN Maternal Fetal Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Hedstrom completed her medical degree at the University of Minnesota and fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas-Houston. She also holds a Masters degree in Addiction Studies and a certificate in Medical Acupuncture.
She has held leadership and academic roles in New Mexico, Florida, and Minnesota, and is affiliated with several Tucson-area hospitals. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Hedstrom is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and dedication to maternal health.
Personal Statement
Dr. Hedstrom's main areas of interests are ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis and clinical management of complex high risk pregnancies. She is passionate about providing a supportive, caring environment for patients with miscarriage and perinatal loss. Outside of medicine she is an avid amateur potter. For stress relief she is always up for an adventure in the Bosque with her dogs.
